Begna Simesso is a seasoned media professional with over 20 years of experience. His extensive career spans various roles, including print and broadcast journalism in Ethiopia and abroad, teaching, lecturing, and communication consulting. With two Masters degrees in Communication and Education from renowned universities in Great Britain, Begna possesses a strong foundation in theory and practical expertise in the field. Prior to establishing his own business, he served as a Communication Specialist at the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) based at the US Embassy in Addis Ababa for three years until 2016. Additionally, Begna worked as the Partnerships Director for Girl Effect, a British creative charity dedicated to empowering girls in Ethiopia through drama, music, and serial TV production, for three years. With his diverse background and wealth of experience, Begna brings a unique perspective and valuable insights to every media initiative he manages.
