OMNI Ethiopia has handed over four recently published training handbooks to the Ethiopian Media Council as part of its continued contribution to strengthening Ethiopia’s media ecosystem.
The handbooks were developed under the Empowered Media–Informed Communities (EMIC) project, implemented with DW Akademie in collaboration with the Ethiopian Media Council. The initiative was made possible through funding from the German Government and support from Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, through the GIZ Support to Good Governance Programme in Ethiopia.
The training handbooks are intended to support media capacity-building, professional development, and the long-term sustainability of training resources for community and media-sector actors.
