About This Project
At a critical moment in Ethiopia's national reconciliation process, OMNI Ethiopia worked with community radio stations and television outlets to promote inclusive dialogue. The project trained broadcasters and provided field recorders to support community-level reporting and dialogue programming.
What OMNI Did
Training, content strategy, and equipment support across community radio and TV networks. Activities: Trained staff at 34 community radio stations and 6 TV stations; Delivered dialogue promotion training and editorial guidance; Provided field recorders to support local reporting. Key outputs: 34 community radio stations trained; 6 TV stations trained; 40 broadcast outlets reached in total; Field recording equipment provided
