OMNI Ethiopia, in collaboration with DW Akademie, kicked off a four-day Methodological Training of Trainers to prepare facilitators for the AMIRP (African Media Integrity and Resilience Program) Media Fellowship.
The fellowship will work with Ethiopian media houses to strengthen capacity across three broad areas: media viability and business resilience, digital transformation and responsible AI, and public-interest journalism. To support this, trainers are being prepared to design learning that goes beyond lectures — using participatory methods, mentoring, peer exchange, feedback, and practical assignments.
AMIRP is funded by the European Union and implemented by Omni Ethiopia in collaboration with DW Akademie and in partnership with International Media Support.
