OMNI Ethiopia and community radio partners organised Weyra Youth Dialogue forums to create space for young people to discuss economic challenges, opportunities, innovation, and youth-led solutions.
In Addis Ababa, OMNI Ethiopia and Civil Service University College Community Radio brought together 80 young participants for a dialogue on economic challenges and opportunities. The forum combined expert insights, role-model experiences, and open conversation to encourage youth participation in shaping practical solutions.
In Assosa, OMNI Ethiopia and Benishangul Gumuz Radio Assosa FM convened young participants for a similar dialogue forum, featuring discussions on economic opportunities and innovation. The event included the participation of entrepreneur Afework Deressa, whose experience helped inspire reflection and fresh thinking among participants.
The Weyra Youth Dialogue initiative reflects OMNI Ethiopia’s commitment to using communication platforms to support youth voice, civic participation, and locally grounded dialogue.
