OMNI ETHIOPIA in collaboration with DW Akademie is implementing a project “Empowered Media-Informed Communities” with the aim of addressing the issues of unbalanced flow of reliable information and increasing informed citizenry on issues of governance; by enhancing the capacity of selected Community Radios (CRs) in Ethiopia, improving their professional skills and their role in government processes.

Omni is looking for 1 passionate expert with an experience in social media content creation and media viability to increase and manage the social media presence of Community Radios (CRs). We would love to hear from you, if you:
- Are a media expert preferably with 5 years or more experience in social media content creation and increasing media viability;
- Have experience in providing tailor – made practical training in social media content creation & media viablilty;
- Have experience in preparing training manual/curriculum in the field;
- Are experienced in mentoring & coaching training participants;
- Are flexible to travel to conduct the trainings in person in different regions and;
- Have good communication skills to maintain smooth & collaborative relationship with training participants, co – trainers, Omni staff and project partner.
Scope of work
The major tasks of this consultancy will include:
Conduct mentorship sessions.
Prepare training matrix, training material/curriculum;
Deliver basic journalistic training sessions; and
