Community Radios for Peace & Dialogue — Radio Shows

Completed March–July 2022 Ethiopia — 23 community radio channels

About This Project

Community Radios for Peace & Dialogue was implemented between March and July 2022 to support community radio stations in Ethiopia in promoting peace, dialogue, and responsible information sharing.

The project focused on the role community media can play in addressing misinformation, disinformation, hate speech, and conflict-sensitive public communication. It combined journalist training, national radio content production, local programme development, and broadcast follow-up with participating community media channels.

What OMNI Did

OMNI supported the project through training, production coordination, editorial guidance, and broadcast follow-up.

The work helped participating community radio teams strengthen their skills, produce practical peace-focused content for local audiences, and broadcast the national Voice of Peace radio programme alongside locally produced peace shows.
