As we expand our programs, we are looking for a highly skilled and reliable individual to join our team as the Head of Finance and Administration.
Job Summary:
The Head of Finance and Administration will be responsible for overseeing all financial and administrative functions of Omni Ethiopia. This role includes budget management, financial reporting, cash flow management, compliance, and streamlining administrative processes. The successful candidate will act as a co-signer on financial documents and work closely with upper management to ensure transparent and efficient use of resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor financial policies and procedures in alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards.
- Oversee budget preparation, financial reporting, and cash flow management, ensuring transparency and accountability in all financial matters.
- Manage the organization’s accounting, payroll, and auditing processes.
- Supervise administrative functions, including document management, vendor relations, and staff coordination.
- Serve as a co-signer on financial documents and represent the finance department in high-level meetings.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve financial and administrative goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in financial management, budgeting, and administration, ideally in a non-profit or similar sector.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, with experience in [specify any relevant software if preferred].
- Strong knowledge of Ethiopian financial regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial staff.
- High level of integrity, with the ability to make ethical decisions and handle confidential information.
